This specific type of cotton is one of our most environmentally-friendly and is defined as being a material that comes from plants that have not been genetically modified.

It is grown and harvested using far less water than conventional cotton and without the use of harmful toxic chemicals such as pesticides and fertilizers. As a result, the fibres extracted from organically-grown cotton plants are longer and stronger than conventional cotton which results in a softer and more durable fabric.

This more eco-friendly version of cotton remains chemical-free throughout the production process too which means the organic cotton material that it creates is anti-allergenic and more skin-friendly, hence why it is often used to make products for babies and sensitive skin.
