Organic
wool

As opposed to standard wool, organic wool puts animal welfare and the environment first to ensure that this natural, renewable material is produced without the use of any harmful practices. The farms from which the organic wool is procured ensure that their sheep are reared and fed to strict organic standards and live a truly free range life to ensure stress is minimized.

The result is an extremely durable and elastic material that can be used to make sustainable clothing and home textiles.

The production process is very similar to conventional wool just without the use of toxic chemicals. The fleece coat of the sheep is sheared off and then washed thoroughly to remove dirt and grease then, once the wool has dried and been sorted by quality, it goes through the carding process where it is combed out to disentangle fibres before it is spun into yarn.
